Photographer/artist Lisa Spindler was born in Detroit and has a deep passion for the city she has worked in most of her life. For the past 30 years, Lisa has exhibited her work in solo and groups shows and her photographs have appeared on several covers for the NY Times Sunday magazine. Lisa’s current studio is located in heart of downtown Detroit and is a curated space housing photography, art and objects of design.
The work that Lisa is best known for ranges from organic and figurative studies to industrial and architectural elements she captures with a unique vision.
Lisa’s former studio was featured in the book “Detroit: The Dream is Now” by Michel Arnaud. It was also included in the digital publication “THE SPACES”, which explores new ways to live and work.
Lisa is the proud mother of two amazing children, Isabella and Miles.
